"Only A Woman"
Today, we will be featuring a book tackling how to never underestimate "The Power of a Godly Woman" by Terri McFaddin.
Terri McFaddin-Solomon is a Jesus-lover and holds a Master’s in Theology from Fuller Seminary. She teaches at two Bible Colleges and is a songwriter with three Grammy Awards and two movie themes to her credit, including “Men In Black.” Terri also authored three books and has written multiple Bible Study series. I decided to share this book because of it's life changing power. I am not fund of reading books, when I was a child my parents buys us lots of book and my brother would finish them all, especially the Harry Potter Series and here I am, started Chapter 1 haven't finished Chapter 1. You know this story.
January 8, 2014 when I started my Christian Life Journey, I became a renewed Catholic that time. I'm 4 years old now in my journey as a Renewed Catholic enjoying the abundance of Christian Life.
November 26, 2017 last year when I attended a life-changing event in the Philippines called "Catch Fire Event"
ONE KING. ONE PEOPLE. ONE MISSION.
4 Different Ministries united to fearlessly proclaim God's graciousness and love!

where all Catholic and Christians come together to rejoice and praise our Lord Jesus Christ. There is no explanation on how it impacted my life. Just four words. "It Changed my Life". I will not forget the presence of God in my Life that day.
It's that time in your life where you kinda lost it and it made you realize that. "I have decided to follow Jesus, no turning back, no turning back" as one of the Hillsong Songs say.
If you're still reading please continue as what I will share today might change your lives too. I want to reach as many souls as I can as I want everyone to feel how God touched my Life and how I will offer everything I do to him to glorify his name and to Glorify his Kingdom.
This book has two parts, the first part is the Story of A Woman and the second part is the Story of a New Woman.
I am now at the second to the last chapter of Part 1, when I decided to create an article about this book. Imagine how moving it is I'm not yet at the end but I already want to share all of what I learned to all of you reading this. I am praying for a big petition right now and I am waiting the the perfect timing to read the last chapter of Part 1 which is Celebrating Victory.
To all of you just beginning in your journey, don't worry as I will simplify this for you. :)
1. What is the difference of Faith and Trust?
Let me put it in this way, you met a guy and you started dating. You don't know anything about him and he asks you to trust him. You then ask yourself, how will I trust him I don't even know him. So you started asking him questions to get to know him better, as you go along the way you started trusting him. That's Trust, you know something about him that justify why you believe him. Faith, it's like our relationship with God. We don’t know anything about his plan but we have a strong belief he has great plan for our life. So when a someone you met started asking you to trust him/her without first introducing facts about him/her, you can say "Are you a God?":) @godlydating101
2. How to start my relationship with God?
Answer his call my dear, he is just right there waiting for you. Remember that everything that we have in this world is from him. Know that we are nothing in front of him. Be humble and acknowledge it. God will accept you. :)
“God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble.”James 4:6
3. Why do we need faith?
Dear we are not here in this world to just live and die, we need to leave a legacy. If you believe you have a legacy and you are here in this multiverse because you have a higher purpose then you need to have faith to know what is that purpose. In the book, one of the chapter is about presenting your petition to God.
"No matter how desperate your situation may appear, when you are presenting your petition or making your request known to God remember that he is all-seeing and all-knowing. As a believer your responsibility is not to panic - put your complete trust, confidence and hope in God. Where there is hope, there is power to cope with whatever life brings."
4. How to have an effective prayer?
In order to have an effective prayer you should acknowledge our nothingness in front of him.
"The bible tells us that "God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble" 1 Peter 5:5
Pray with all your heart and Be Still, for he is our God. And, God answers prayers. :)
5. How to know what is his answer to me?
God's answers us in different ways as God's children we are different from each other. In my experience I get answers from him through reading a bible or a book, asking advice from mentors that are more mature in faith. Sometimes I pray for him to speak to me through my surroundings, through music. He answers in different ways. You will just know that it's him. Discern well.
6. Why should I need not to turn my back against God?
Many times we turn our back to God because we are tired of waiting and sometimes we feel like he's not answering. One important take-away in the book is to check our prayers, what is our desire?
"You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures" James 4:3
The book also discussed how amazing it is that we want so much from God, but seldom think about what we will give back to him in return for his great kindness. We need to check our heart and align with God, repent and don't let Satan lure you away from God. You are chosen not forsaken, You are who he say you are. Know he is our God. Believe and have faith.
7. How to be faithful to him?
Deepen your relationship to him, he is our father. If you're not prayerful, the devil will slip in and undermine the work of God. Don't let that happen, remember all the things God has done for you. When someone gives us so much favor do we leave him/her? Will you be happy if that's you? He is our God and Christ is enough. Have a decision to follow him. There is no turning back. Everything we need is him. Have a goal that if you leave multiverse, God will tell you. "Well done, my faithful and humble servant."
"Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise" Psalms 100:4
8. What will I do if waiting for his will hurts me already?
"Don't be discouraged when the answer you seek takes time"
The book discussed that Delays are the servants of God's perfect timing. There are times in our lives that we ask God "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" When you experience this kind of delay in your petition. Worship and praise him more. Delays are blessing in disguise, during delays god is preparing our heart, us. For the prefect person and the perfect circumstance. In his perfect time and usually when we least expect it, God answers our petition. And, it will come forth will full abundance. Be Still, know he is our God. :)
9. How to be #patientlywaiting ?
"You must surrender your Desires"
When praying to God, I believe this is the hardest part. In this earthly life we desire for something, for ourselves. We want it so bad, but what if it's not his will for us? Surrendering our desires to God is the hardest.
She wrote in the book:
Lord says: The thing that you desire the most, the thing that you are trying to protect, the thing you are holding on to with all your strength, the thing that you would fight and die for - it must be completely released unto Me. If you are afraid to release that which you cherish and desire the most, you will eventually lose it or you will lose the joy that you hoped it would bring.
"What shall I render to the Lord for all his benefits toward me?" Psalm 116:2
God wants us to trust Him with our life and everything in our life.
No more Fears.
No more Doubts.
No more Anxieties.
When our hearts becomes one with his heart and our desires in his desires. He will not hesitate to grant our full petition.
I believe in God the Father, I believe in Christ the Son, I believe in the Holy Spirit. Our God is 3 in 1! I believe in the name of Jesus. :)
10. How to thank God for everything?
Sing a Song of Victory
"Accept what God has done through you and rejoice with us."
Like the women in the bible - Deborah, Miriam, Hannah, Elizabeth and Mary - her voice rang out with song:
Our great and mighty God has shown his awesome, wondrous ways.
He turned my weakness into strength. Turned my sorrow into praise.
There is not a day in my life that I don't praise him. Listening to Hillsong and other Christian Songs helped me a lot too in glorifying his name. Enjoy worship! :)
I have decided to follow Jesus, no turning back no turning back. :)

CONTINUATION:
Hi! All,
Today is April 5, 2018, Now I will finish this article by sharing the last part of Part I which is:
Celebrating the Victory
As you all know, I've been praying for a petition - "A vision that I need to accomplish."
Up until now, I'm experiencing struggles but i know everything shall pass too and it's giving me lessons to strengthen my faith. I just want to declare it as a victory. I know God is on it and I will not be shaken. I will be still for He is my God.
I learned that the best thing to do in the midst of disaster is to praise God for the Victory. :)
17 Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is. 18 And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit, 19 speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord, Ephesians 5:17-19
Always give thanks for the victories in your life. If you have not yet seen the victory, continue to rejoice! I say this with boldness because the word of God says that you are in a "fixed fight" with the enemy. God has already "stacked the deck" and there's no way for you to lose.
14 Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place.2 Corinthians 2:14
So if you ask again,
Why Me?
God: Why not you?
Develop a strong prayer life and dedicate your self to learning the Word of God, the Lord will make your way prosperous, and you will have your awaited petition's success. :)
