Korina Mercado is  recently awarded as one of the 2021 FWN Global 100 Most Influential Filipina In The World - Emerging Leader Awardee and Top 100 Filipinos on Linkedin.

Korina Mercado is an Industrial Engineer, Start-up Founder, Technical Writer, Public Speaker, Thought Leader and Aviation Enthusiast who works as a Strategy, Analytics and Optimization Manager for Philippine Airlines. She also started a consulting start-up during the pandemic period, she founded KonsultNZ. Providing solutions to start-up worldwide. Trying to disrupt the consulting business, aviation during Weekdays and other industries during weekends. Her top clients are from US, Germany and UAE ranging from Gaming Industry to Hospitality, Meat Industry, Healthcare, Hotels, Operations, E-commerce and Human Resource fields.

Her mindset and achievements led her to speak in several Process Improvement, Aviation, Operations Research and Data Analytics Conferences and universities not only in the Philippines but in Asia like Aviation Asia, IHG Continental Hotels Group, Fiera De Manila, Ask Lex PH Academy, Zenvarex and Growth GmbH. She published an operational analytics course in Ask Lex PH Academy for Industrial Engineers and currently teaches statistics to Lean Six Sigma Black Belts for one of the consulting agencies in the Philippines. She inspired numerous young engineers in several universities in the Philippines and Asia. Her notoriety earned her invitations to speak at universities in India as well.

On her journey, she also met the creator of Agile Sigma Methodology Mr. Tim Gaffney and they became collaborators in introducing the latest methodologies, techniques and strategies worldwide. Discussing different methodologies with different founders worldwide.

With over 22K+ followers in LinkedIn she is considered by other influential Filipinos quoted by Chinkee Tan as one of the thought leaders in the industry. Korina formulated a framework of Optimizing Life Series using Agile Sigma Methodology. DCF (Desire, Consistency & Faith) inspired by Mr. Tim Gaffney, Tim Ferriss and Sir Napoleon Hill. A framework that aims to help a person address every area of his/her life and improve it by iterations and optimization. Who would have thought that Agile Sigma a Business Process Improvement Methodology can be also applied to personal life? She always emphasize the great role of Faith in anyone’s success.

 

Her recent following made her an Amazon Influencer too. She has been an innovator and a change leader ever since, fostering change and improvement anywhere she goes.
